1. Âm và chữ B b - Sound & letters B b

♦ Phát âm b [b] – Pronouncing b [b]

B is a consonant. When pronouncing this consonant, purse your lips tightly, open them quickly and let out the air. The [b] sound is an unvibrated sound (ba, bi, bé, bình).

This sound [b] is pronounced like the English consonant /b/ as in the words bike, bye, bake.

B is initial consonant with combining abilities with all nuclear vowels.

2. Âm và chữ P p - Sound & letter P p

♦ Phát âm p [p] - Pronouncing p [p]

P is a voiceless stop consonant. B and P have the same pronunciation, but P needs to press his lips tighter and exhale faster and stronger.

When occurring in the final position of a syllable is implosive, that is, it is made without an egressive airstream from the lungs, unlike the finals /p/ in English, which is plosives. It is created with a rapid burst when the closure is released: Vietnamese bóp - English bop.

P can be placed initial and final consonant. The syllables with the stop final consonants p have only two tones - either: "sắc" the high-rising or "nặng" the low-falling broken.

♦ Phát âm p [p] - Pronouncing p [p]

Đ [d] is a voiced consonant. When pronounces place the tip of the tongue under the gums; when the air bursts out the tip of the tongue touches the lower front teeth. The teeth fit together, opening up the airflow and creating vibration for the larynx. This sound [d] is pronounced almost like /d/ in English but with a slightly weaker accent. Example: day, leader.
